Upcoming PCS Training, Questions and Answers, and Training Sessions – Online

GUI: Graphical User Interface = a PCS web application used by the majority of PCS users via a specific link; prerequisite is an active user account

API: Application Programming Interface = TAF/TAP TSI interface of PCS, used by interfacing companies via RNE Common Interface (CI); prerequisite is a technical configuration

December 2025 training sessions

Target audience: companies with an existing connection to PCS CB API and / or an implementation

Recommended prerequisites for attendance: familiarity with TAF/TAP TSI and PCS (Graphical User Interface and API)

Registration for attendance: link . Not mandatory but highly recommended for a more hands-on experience for the training participant already from the first training session. Registration deadline: 27.11.2025

On each session, at least 50 % of the time will be reserved for Questions and Answers.

3 December, 09:30-12:00: recording. Session 2 – Target audience: applicants. Agenda: New Path Request process with pre-arranged paths (actions from Reference Train creation until end of the Harmonisation phase – Path request submission), PR split functionality, OffsetToReference functionality and Questions & Answers.

4 December, 09:30-12:00: no recording available (reason: the session had no attendees). Session 3 – Agenda: Questions & Answers with priority given to questions about the Feasibility Study process and New Path Request process (until path request submission).

January 2026 – Questions and Answers sessions

Audience: companies with an existing connection to PCS CB API or a planned production usage in 2026.

Scope: questions from the audience about PCS CB API (priority will be given to questions related to the Feasibility Study process, the New Path Request process and Late Path Request process). Questions shall be submitted to RNE PCS Support (support.pcs@rne.eu) at least 72 hours before the session. The session will be closed once all questions have been addressed.

Location: online. Links to the Teams calls will be sent by RNE PCS Support to the registered participants.

Optional submission of questions to RNE PCS Support before the session (72 hours before the session). The hotline will be available until the end of the session.

Location: online.

Registration for attendance: required. Registration form.

The Rail Freight Corridors (RFCs) in cooperation with RailNetEurope (RNE) are pleased to invite you to the PCS Trainings scheduled in early 2026.

The organized training sessions will focus on the freight-specific functions in PCS-CB, providing you with valuable, practical insights needed for allocating capacity on the RFCs for timetable 2027.

In person PCS Trainings 2026: These sessions will be held physically only and include the chance to practice live with individual corridor-specific exercises. Explanations in local languages might be possible. If you would like to participate, please register through the following links:

Cooperation with FTE

RNE JO invites you to an in-person training session during the afternoon on Monday, one day before the FTE conference

  • FTE A conference, day 0, the 12th of January 15:00-19:00
    • Scope: Feasibility Study process – start to finish, basic inconsistencies resolution workflows
    • Target audience: Passenger Applicants and IMs
    • Please register your attendance via MS form by 11 December 2025 EOD
    • On-site support for PCS CB usage will be provided during the conference, 13.01-15.01.
  • FTE B and other upcoming conferences
    • Opportunities during upcoming conferences will be announced closer to the conference date if confirmed (depending on the interest and organisational factors)

    • http://pcs-ec.rne.eu – read-only version is available from November 14th 2025, and will stay available until the end of the next running timetable period. Users can access it with their own production accounts used during the request for the annual TT 2026.
    • https://pcs-ec-test.rne.eu – testing site (previous “test1” will stay enabled for a short period after the migration, where the TT 2026 is the last editable timetable period. Generic company test accounts can be used for testing.
