Network-specific parameters (named IM parameters in PCS) address national network particularities and can be defined at the message level (dossier-level in PCS) and planned journey location level (path section level in PCS).
Additionally in PCS, IMs can define the restriction and format of the parameter. The set-up of the parent-child relations between parameters with an impact on their visibility or status (mandatory/optional) is also possible in PCS.
Please find below the restriction and formatting options in PCS

Inputs to dossier-level parameters can only be provided once the dossier is created and in Harmonisation phase because the RA – IM pairs need to already exist in PCS.
A validation check of inbound messages ensures the data provided is compliant with the restriction and format defined by the IM in PCS.
