Applicants can choose the Adhoc Pre-Accepted process type when creating their path request. In this case, applicants decide that they will automatically accept the IMs/ABs' Adhoc offers. This means that, in this case, there is no Acceptance phase, the reference train switches to the Booked phase after submitting the Adhoc Request Offer. The Adhoc Pre-accepted process type does not contain the post-processing phase.
It starts as the regular Adhoc Path Request, but the leading applicant can decide in the Harmonization phase that changes the process from fully harmonized to partially harmonized. The partial harmonization process works the same way for applicants as for IMs/ABs. The applicant-IM pairs move independently through the phases until the Acceptance phase, where the request must be harmonized again.
The Adhoc process types are not deadline-driven, and one-time deadline promotion configuration does not exist.
3. New Path Request (fully harmonized process without partial phases)
3.1 Main phases
3.1.1 Open phase
Can be started on 09.11.2026 at 00:00. Reference trains can be created in the open phase until 12.04.2027 at 23:59. On the same day, an automatic one-time promotion is scheduled at 23:00 to switch reference trains where the provided conditions are met.
3.1.1.1 Reference train creation after one time automatic promotion on the NPR deadline date
On the 12.04.2027 between 23:01 - 23:59: Applicants still have the last chance to create their reference trains in the last moments until the NRR process deadline. The automatic promotion is completed at 23:00 than Applicants must manually submit their path requests! Having in mind that if the path request is placed after the New Path Request deadline, it will be created as a Late Path Request.
3.1.2 Harmonization
Harmonization starts depending on the leading applicant. From the TTP028 a new milestone (X-9) is introduced to the system configuration to block the early submission of NPR path requests.
From the 15.03.2027 at 00:00: Applicants can submit their path requests to IMs/ABs/RFCs.

3.2.3 Actions to be performed
3.2.3.1 Advice for requesting NPR PaPs
If the path request is created close to the deadline, the leading applicant can use the "last chance" to insert PaPs into the reference train before the New Path Request deadline, and we recommend doing it until 12.04.2027 at 22:59. The leading Applicants will be able to check the path request once more in the Harmonisation phase, and the reference train will be automatically switched to the Pre-booking phase at 23:00 h on the same day.
Conditions to switch:
- complete all missing data
- all involved responsible applicants’ lights are green
3.2.3.2 Remaining reference trains
a.) Phases: Harmonization conference -> Harmonization (Promotion_2)
12.04.2027 at 04:00: if there are any remaining reference trains in the Harmonization Conference, they will be switched to Harmonisation
Conditions to switch:
- no conditions are set for this promotion
- all involved responsible Applicants' lights may be green, yellow, red, or blue
With this approach, the leading Applicants will be able to check the reference trains once more in the Harmonisation phase before the Path Request Deadline, and the reference trains will be automatically switched at 23:00 h on the same day
3.2.3.3 Just started the Harmonization conference
Reference trains that have started the Harmonization Conference will be kept in the Harmonization Conference phase.
The leading applicant must ensure that all participants agree with the request and submits the feasibility study requests.
Conditions to switch
- All responsible Applicants must have green lights
3.2.3.4 Reference train withdrawn to harmonization after NPR deadline
If a reference train has been withdrawn by the leading Applicant or rejected by the the leading IMs/ABs and the Applicant still wants to continue working with it, the Applicant must duplicate the existing reference train created in the New path Request process type and copy it to the Late Path Rrequest process type. There is no continius automatic process type conversion configuration in the system after the New Path request deadline!
4. Feasibility Study (FS)
The feasibility study mainly supports passenger traffic users in the New Path Request process type.

In case when the feasibility study CAN NOT be completed by the IM/AB on time, and they decide that this path offer should NOT be switched automatically to Harmonisation on 15.03.2026 at 23.00 h then the IM/AB has to switch this reference train manually from Feasibility Elaboration Conference to Feasibility Study Elaboration before 15.03.2026 at 23.00 h.
b. Phases: Feasibility Study Elaboration -> Feasibility Study Result (Not completed - Step 2)
Afterwards, the switching from Feasibility Study Elaboration to Feasibility Study Result has to be done manually by the coordinating IMs/ABs.

If starting the feasibility study process late, the leading entities have to manually coordinate and manually switch the reference trains through the Feasibility Study phases.
4.1.3.3 Reference train withdrawn to harmonization after NPR deadline
If a reference train has been withdrawn by the leading Applicant or rejected by the the leading IMs/ABs and the Applicant still wants to continue working with it, the Applicant must duplicate the existing reference train created in the New path Request process type and copy it to the Late Path Rrequest process type. 6. Valid for all process types
In each process type from the Booked phase Applicants or IM users can start the path changes processes if the already agreed path requires some modifications, alteration or day cancellations.
If a path affected by a path change contains a booked PaP, that path is no longer treated as a PaP, so the RFC takes no part in the change process. Because the PaP references are removed, the applicant or IM can freely work with the requests and offers.
